HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG STIMULASI DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK KASAR ANAK USIA 3-5 TAHUN DI DESA PULAU BAGUK KECAMATAN PULAU BANYAK KABUPATEN ACEH SINGKIL TAHUN 2017

ABSTRACT
Rough motor development is an aspect related to movement and posture
and usually requires energy, because it is carried out by the muscles of the larger
body. Good gross motoric development is not only supported by the fulfillment of
nutritional status, but also by the stimulation provided. This study aims to
determine whether there is a relationship between maternal knowledge about
stimulation and gross motor development of 3-5 year olds in PulauBaguk Village,
PulauBanyak District, AcehSingkil District.
This type of research is descriptive correlation with Cross Sectional
approach. The total population of researchers is 110 people. The sampling
technique was carried out with Simple Random Sampling techniques with 30% of
the population so that the number of samples was 33 people. Data analysis used
Chi Square test.
The results of this study indicate that from the results of the questionnaire
the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge as many as 21 respondents
(63.6%), and the majority of child development in the underprivileged category
were 19 respondents (57.6%). The results of data analysis showed P value =
0.001, where 0.001 <0.05. This shows that there is a close relationship between
mother's knowledge about stimulation with gross motor development of 3-5 year
olds in PulauBaguk Village, PulauBanyak District, AcehSingkil District.
It was concluded that there was a relationship between maternal
knowledge about stimulation and gross motor development in children aged 3-5
years. It is recommended that mothers dig deeper information from accurate
sources about the importance and how to stimulate the gross motoric development
of children.
